Signs That Spring Has Arrived

As the clocks go forward an hour at the end of March, we may grumble about losing that extra hour in bed, but it is also a sure sign that spring is on its way. Those who are lucky enough to be driving around and about doing courier jobs at this time of year are fortunate in being able to see the signs of springtime all around them. Here are some of the best signs of spring that you'll see on the road.

Lambing Season

One of the most exciting parts of spring is lambing season. Anyone that ventures into the countryside on courier jobs is bound to pass by fields just bursting with new born lambs. If you're lucky you might get to see them as they struggle to their feet for the very first time, and then see them topple over again. Those that are already a couple of weeks old will have become boisterous and will be running around the field as fast as their little legs can carry them, as their mothers stand by and watch. There's something undeniably satisfying about seeing the new season personified within these little lambs.

Daffodils

The first sign of springtime, daffodils can brighten up anyone's day. Roadsides and roundabouts become littered with yellow as they spring up just in time for St. David's Day at the beginning of March. Whether your courier jobs take you to Wales or not, one of their national emblems, the daffodil, can be enjoyed whatever route you take. See them as you drive along, or perhaps stop and pick up a bunch to brighten up your house. However you enjoy daffodils, the vivid yellow colour at the side of the road is enough to bring a smile to anyone's face, and a sure sign that spring has arrived.

Easter Eggs

All through the winter months and the Christmas season, the service stations and cafes where you stop whilst you're doing courier jobs will have been filled with seasonal fare such as mince pies and Christmas puds. As spring arrives, so do the next seasonal foods, and this time in the form of Easter eggs. Whether you enjoy dreaming up new ways of eating a Cadburys Cream Egg, or prefer to snack on a Lindt golden bunny, the shelves are full of Easter delights for you to choose from.

Daylight

One of the main reasons that people get a spring in their step in springtime is the longer days and the lighter evenings. Those working in offices can leave before darkness falls, whilst those doing courier jobs can be home while it is still light, rather than having to deal with the glare of headlights day in day out. Everyone seems to be just that little happier when the daylight hours lengthen.

After the long and cold winter, it is always exciting to see a sign that spring is breaking through. Those driving around the country doing courier jobs are in the perfect position to see spring arrive; from the animals in the fields to the flowers by the side of the road, you'll be the first to know that the season has changed.

Employing a Freelance Writer Is the Way Forward

For a many people, the internet all too often ends up as being a place of great disappointment. Not to the everyday surfer of course. To them it's a ceaseless marvel. A place where they can roam at will, seeking out pieces of information, or finding that great deal that they have been searching for. But for the wannabe internet entrepreneur, whose aim is to launch a website that will one day make his or her fortune, it's quite a different story.

The latest batch of statistics suggests, (it's not an exact science by the way), that there are currently approximately 612 million websites live out there in cyberspace today. But in terms of activity; only 185 million are active. That means a mammoth 472 million websites are inactive - or, put another way - 69% are not performing. What's the reason for this? Well there are several reasons.

The Domain Name Game

The first reason is what I call the Domain Name Game. When the internet began to really take off, (remember the dot.com revolution that started back in 1995?), many companies (the larger organisations such a the guys who make coke, and Nike people in particular) decided to register all of the possible variations of their company name. This was to prevent anybody else "queering" their pitch. So, dot.com, dot.net, dot.org etc all got bought up, many never to be used.

Corner the Market.com

The second reason was that many people saw a possible opportunity for a great domain name that one day, someone would want to buy. So these guys invented and bought those names, believing that one day they would be in great demand and they could make a killing. Most, of course, turned out to be no more than costly red herrings.

Unfortunately there are no statistics for either variety, which means that the third reason, although very real, and undoubtedly, a very large proportion of the 472 million redundant websites, cannot be quantified.

Lack of Knowledge & Internet Savvy

This third reason is what I term lack of internet knowledge and savvy. My guess is that this category this would account for well over 70% of the 472 million - over 330 million inactive websites.

Now when I say lack of knowledge or savvy, I'm not talking about technical knowledge; things like building your own website. What I'm talking about is driving visitors to your website. The bottom line is that if no one knows that your website is there, how can they visit it? You might have the greatest product, service offer, or piece of information ever. But if no one knows about it, they're never going to find out about it.

Employing a Freelance Writer

One of the best ways of arousing interest is to post articles and blogs where interested people can find them. But the thing is that many people are either not very good at writing, or they simply can't be bothered to make the effort. Either way, the end result is the same; their websites fester and die.

The alternative is to employ a freelance writer. You'll find their fees very reasonable, particularly when you weigh them up against the benefit. You'll be able to get a 500 word article for under $10 or $20 if you use a top class freelancer. Whatever you do, don't scrimp. There are lots of freelance writers that herald from the third world, and they charge silly prices like $2 an article. But remember, you get what you pay for. At $2, it is likely to be in poor English, unoriginal, and under researched. It won't do the job you hope it will. It's like anything in life - you get what you pay for!

Prearranged Funeral Plans: Caring for Your Love Ones Until the Very End

Thinking about our deaths is not something we typically do. We tend to live life as we go. But we have to admit that one day our life will end and we will be leaving people we care about when that happen. With this knowledge it would be best to have everything ready once we reach the end of our earthly journey. This is when we consider having prearranged funeral plans to relieve our love ones of the task of contacting a funeral home, buying the casket and what cemetery we are going to be buried.

Consider only what you need. These would be where you want your funeral to be held, your home or a funeral parlor, the casket or coffin and your burial place. There are several funeral plans are offered that will cover the casket and funeral service like the venue and the funeral car. For burial sites you can contact the cemetery of your choice to inquire on the price of their available lots. There are several cemeteries that also offer larger lots and mausoleums for a family burial site. But consider your budget. Large mausoleums are expensive so consider them carefully.

There is also the cremation service. If you wish to be in ashes and kept in a family urn then you can prepare for a cremation service. With this option you will be discarding the casket for an ash urn. Finding a funeral parlor to conduct the cremation is not much of a problem as most of them offer cremation as one of their services. You will not need a burial site as well. That means that a cremation could be a more cost effective choice for a prearranged funeral.

You may also want to consider setting aside funds for your funeral where there will be friends who would come and mourn with your family. Take note of everything. The goal is basically to have funds enough to cover funeral expenses leaving no more financial worries and burden behind for your love ones to handle. Another benefit for doing prearranged funeral plans is that you get to pay for future funeral expenses in their prices today. Cemetery lots are still real estates, so expect the prices to go up as years go by. The same can be said to the prices of the funeral services and coffins. Getting them several decades later could mean that you will have to pay twice more for them compared to this year or the next. So it is really advisable and sound to have prearranged funeral plans early on.

Sanctions on Iran! An Example of Revelation of the Three Unclean Spirits Like Frogs

Jesus said at Luke 4:24 Jesus said: "Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country." Surely I will not be accepted here in America, the country I love. Nevertheless, Jesus has called me to this office as one of His prophets. At Revelation 16:15 Jesus says: "Behold, I come as a thief:Bless is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked; and they see his shame."

Surely, there are many who profess to be pastors who are naked and some are fast asleep. Nevertheless, they are tasked to feed the flock of the Living God. Many do not believe that God has prophets today and some try to do it all. This is a very sad commentary because many do not understand the Book of Revelation and are not properly feeding the saints of the living God. This is a very serious problem because we are on the path of destruction and it is happening today before our eyes, however there are many who are blind and cannot see. The imposed sanctions on Iran are a good example of what happens when the watchmen are asleep or cut off. Did you know these sanctions are designed to help bring about the battle of Armageddon? Let us see how this is happening today.

Revelation 16:13- 16 says, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into the place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."

Listen carefully. This is what is occurring today, like frogs, messengers are carrying messages from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the beast, and the from mouth of the false prophet unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world. We must understand unfortunately, in the United States of America, today, we are using the Secretary of State to this end, when the Secretary moves from nation to nation like a frog. As the Secretary of State is being used to this end, representatives from other nations also carry messages from the mouth of dragon, and the mouth of beast, and the mouth of the false prophet. It is imperative that we understand this is designed to bring about the battle of Armageddon.

To do what is right and that which is pleasing in the sight of God we must know His word and recognize when messages are coming from the mouth of the dragon, the mouth of the beast, or the mouth of the false prophet. Let us examine several messages.

(1) Is the doctrine of preemptive approach to war, God's approach? Or is the doctrine of preemptive approach to war from the mouth of the dragon? This is what the word of God says, "At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; if that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; if it do evil in my sight, that obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them." (Jeremiah 18:7-10) It is clear that the preemptive approach is not the way of the Lord, however it is a message from the mouth of the dragon.

Doctrine of unjust sanctions on nations - Sanctions have been placed on North Korea and Cuba because of their forms of government. Two of theconsequences of these sanctions on North Korea; many people have starved and recently there have been reports of cannibalism in North Korea. The act of controlling people through these sanctions are words from the mouth of the beast. Effecting this doctrine lends to the state when people cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast. Now the United States has placed sanctions on Iran to try to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons; however countries all around Iran have nuclear weapons. These words to impose sanctions on Iran come directly from the mouth of the beast - thus the spirits of devils are carrying it from one kingdom to the next like frogs. It is imperative that our leaders understand this. First the Christian leaders must understand what is going on today in the spirit and share this revelation with the people of God.

Doctrine from the mouth of the false prophet - The message: Jesus Christ is not the Son of God is from the mouth of the false prophet. However, words from the mouth of the false prophet are not limited to this falsehood. Words from the false prophet present conclusions contrary to the word of God - For example going to war with Iraq - the false prophet exclaimed to go to war and there will be a quick victory and the people and Iraq will bless and hug you because they will be liberated. However, in Zechariah chapter 5, God showed Zechariah that the whole earth had been covered with a cruse. Thus God showed Zechariah the United States and the United Kingdom planting wickedness in Iraq to be the resemblance of them. Did you know that God looks at democracies around the world as wickedness? Surely, this is not smooth talk; however this is the word of God. Read Zechariah chapter five and then read the article on this site titled: "Revelation of the Middle East Crisis" to observe the revelation unfold before your eyes.

Jesus says, "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." (Revelation 16:15) Some people do not know that they are naked and desire the day of the Lord. Listen to what Amos says about this desire. "Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light." (Amos 5:18)

Dig Deeper To Discover The Secret Of Winning!

As you know everyone loves a winner and winning can definitely make you feel great. You may have read a lot about the secrets of winning and the strategies that winners use. Whether it is winning a physical challenge like a race or some sport or whether it is winning a game of intellect like rummy, there is no secret formula for winning.

The best formula for winning would be considered as follows:

The right aptitude - 20% The right attitude - 20% Hard work - 35% Determination - 25%

As you can see this is just a simple formula that reflects on the main ingredients that make up a success. These are not the final analysis, only an assumption from study of the profile of many winners. In a game like rummy, winning is probably what motivates the player to strive to play more. Especially when Indian rummy games are played for cash, the motivation to win increases.

The key to winning in rummy as with many aspects of life can be effectively divided into two parts. The first part of this is knowing what your personality type is and second is picking out the strategy that fits in with your personality type.

Broadly speaking, gaming personalities or for that matter most personalities can be divided into the following categories:

Aggressive and daring: This sort of personality faces any situation head on and likes to take risks. Which means the chances of winning high profits are equal to making big losses. This sort of person is into high risks and high rewards. The game strategy suitable for this type of personality would definitely have to aggressive but maybe with a little bit of caution at very risky moments. Positive but cautious: This type of personality will often work towards a goal with an optimistic attitude though with a realistic outlook. This person would like huge profits or rewards but would also like to have an exit door if things go wrong. The plan for this personality would be study the risks thoroughly before proceeding. Slow, steady and calculative: This personality would probably be more likely to have numerous, steady but really quiet victories. As this person delves into details and then proceeds with anything. The rummy winning strategy for this type of personality would be probably to start taking more calculated risks, increasing possibility of better returns. Pessimistic and good at planning: This sort of personality though good at planning will probably not have good results due to excess caution and negativity. To overcome this flaw and to capitalize on the inherent advantage of being good at laying out plans, the strategy for this type of personality would be to step forward, be assertive and start taking some risks.

To be successful at analyzing oneself, you need to make sure of the following:

Deciding at What Age to Give Your Child Their Own Cell Phone

Deciding at what age to get your child a cell phone is a decidedly 21st century parenting conundrum. I originally started writing this article with the full intention of doing the research for you and boiling it down to a simple number. That isn't going to happen. I can't make your decision for you. Every kid is different, every family is different. What I can do is present you with some information to make your decision an informed, and hopefully easier one.

What's everybody else doing?

Let's start with some numbers from a 2011 study conducted by Elizabeth Englander at Bridgewater State University. A surprisingly high 20% of eight year olds own their own phones according to the study. For 10 year olds the number climbs to 39% and dramatically to 83% for middle school kids. This study did not differentiate smart phones from other devices. It's also worth noting that this study was conducted among 20,000 children in Massachusetts. The difference between smart and dumb phones was not considered in this study. A recent SodaHead poll of 1,066 parents however, found 66% believing smart phones should be kept out of a child's hands until their 16th birthday.

Issues to consider:

It's important to know what kind of issues you need to thinking about when making the decision for your own kids. I found an article from Kevin Mercadante at parentingfamilymoney.com that did a great job of listing some of things you should be thinking about. Kevin decided to broke it down into a simple pro and con list that makes a lot of sense. Remember, this article is about giving you the best information to make this decision yourself.

reasons to wait...

Expense. A clearly important factor. There are ways to moderate it through different phones and plans, however the best conceived ideas combining kids, cell phones and saving money are at best a tough balancing act. Take a prepaid plan with limited minutes, and the child can have them used up before he ever has a need to call you. I've known people who have taken prepaid or very limited plans, only to convert them to something more generous a few months later. They're kids, so we have to have flexibility built into any plan, and that will cost extra.

Cell phones aren't toys. As a rule kids tend to be casual about their possessions and instilling a sense of responsibility can be a challenge. The younger they are, the more difficult this will be. But to a child under ten just about anything is a toy. Not only will they drop it, toss it and play catch with it but they'll find a way to use it for everything but its intended purpose.

Distraction. The younger children are the more easily they get distracted. And while they already have plenty of distractions in their lives, cell phones add an extra dimension: they're portable! Not only will your child be distracted when sitting in front of the TV or computer, but his phone will be a constant traveling companion that will keep him occupied when he should be doing other things.

Theft and loss. We all lose things, we all have items stolen from us. But like it or not, kids lose them quicker, and seem to live in a world crawling with sticky-fingered peers. Yes, there are insurance plans to help cover this, but a child can test the limits of just about any plan you have. The younger your kids are, the more likely they are to lose their phones, or have them stolen. This is a strong argument against providing phones for very young children.

Proper use. Now that cellphones are so common, they've also become an issue in school. Use of cellphones in school is usually handled by confiscation. At my kids' schools, they can retrieve the phones at the end of the day on a first offense, and after that only the parent can get them back. The younger the child, the more trips you'll need to make to the front office to retrieve a confiscated phone. I'm certain detentions are meted out after a certain number of confiscations. The point is, your child needs to be able to comprehend and apply proper judgment on when and where to use his phone.

reasons not to wait...

Keeping tabs on them. As each year passes in a child's life they venture farther from home and for longer periods of time. As normal as this may be, as parents we still need to know where they are, especially when they're young. Cell phones are a critical way of maintaining a connection when kids out of sight.

Safety and emergencies. It should be enough that cellphones can give you immediate contact with your children in a crisis, but they do even more. If you have young children and you've ever taken them to Disney World you'll appreciate this point quickly. No matter how careful you are, kids have a way of getting separated from their parents, especially in crowded places. But if they have cell phones you'll be able to find them quickly, and just as important, it will eliminate the panic that can set in when they disappear. Ever since we got cell phones for our kids, trips to the park, the mall and yes, even Disney World, aren't nearly as scary.

Social factors. This shouldn't be a factor, but it's a major consideration for your child. As kids are getting cell phones at increasingly earlier ages, social factors become real. No child wants to be one of only three kids in her class who doesn't have a cell phone. And worse, those cell phones "need" to be of a certain type, and carry socially desirable features to make the cut. Like it or not, the social component will be a factor in your cell phone choice sooner or later. My guess is sooner...

Health Concerns

You may have heard stories about a radiation risk from wireless devices. I always assumed this wasn't much of a concern, but what do the experts say? The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission asking the commission to reconsider it's radiation standards for children. AAP President Dr. Robert Block, wrote that children "are not little adults and are disproportionately impacted by all environmental exposures, including cell phone radiation." The National Cancer Institute's website includes this message on the issue: "in theory, children have the potential to be at greater risk than adults for developing brain cancer from cell phones." Of course children aren't going to be spending much time with a cell phone pressed to the side of their heads, they'd rather be texting.

Some parents have expressed worries over eye strain and even long term eye damage. The AAP doesn't seem very concerned about the issue. "Probably much ado about nothing,' said the chair of their ophthalmology section, Dr. James Ruben. There infact seems to be little evidence of any increase in vision problems related to cell phone use among children and young adults.

So now what?

I'm not an expert or a parent of a 'tween' but this is my article, so forget what I said in the first paragraph. You're getting a number. I think most 6th graders are ready for a phone, though I'd limit them to a non smartphone. From what I understand, it's pretty common for parents to show up at 5th graduations with phones for their newly minted 'tweens.' I think this makes a lot of sense. And if we are giving phones away at graduation, I'd save the smartphone for middle school graduation.

Compare Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is a necessity, much more so that the normal insurance coverage you take usually. This is because any misfortune that strikes you while you are travelling is usually 5 to ten times more potent when compared to the similar misfortune at home ground. When you are travelling in Bali and injure your knee, the best medical facilities will need your evacuation, which can cost a pretty penny. Keeping the cost benefit analysis of such risks in mind, in this article we note some factors you should consider while comparing travel insurance from multiple providers.

Providers

Insurers that provide this type of insurance providers can be broadly classified into two groups: one is the companies which specialize in insurance, and the second is the tour operators, travel agents and travel suppliers which specialize in travel but give you the option of buying insurance with their product. It is seen that insurance offered by the latter group is less inclusive than the one offered by insurance companies. So if you need more coverages, you are advised to approach the companies and inquire about their policies.

Travel Insurance Comparison Tips

The cost of insurance while traveling depends on a number of factors. These include the age of the insured, the type of cover, the destination and pre-existing medical conditions. The last are usually excluded from medical coverage. All things being equal, the following tips should be borne in mind when comparing insurance offered by different insurers:

Read the product disclosure statement fully, and carefully note the differences between two or more policies. Some policies may look similar on surface, but in reality there may be some caveats in one policy that might not be present in another. Check the type of pre-existing conditions different policies rule out of medical coverage Check the stance of the policies viz-a-viz what are called dangerous activities. These may include activities such as surf-boarding, mountain climbing, bungee jumping etc. Talk to the insurers about their policies to clarify any doubts before deciding the policy you will use

Taking all these factors into consideration will help you decide the most suitable insurance plan for your trip. Travel safe, and travel insured.

The Top 5 Ways To Get Affordable Car Insurance

Many people pay much more for their car insurance premiums than what is really required. Some companies add trivial features to the policy which can hike up the periodical payments. By taking a closer look at all the benefits that you are paying for, you can ensure that there are no frivolous benefits that are costing you unnecessarily. Here are the top 5 ways to get affordable car insurance.

1. Always get quotes from at least three or more car insurance companies, and cross compare them diligently. By looking at a handful of quotes, you will have a better idea of what is available and at what price. Having different options to choose from would put you in a better position to decide which policy is the best option for you.

2. If you are confident of your driving capabilities, you can increase your excess. The excess is the amount that you would have to pay from your pocket in the event of an accident. Increasing the excess lowers the risk for the insurance company. Therefore, the company would offer you a lower premium. This can save you a lot of money on premiums, as long as you do not have an accident.

3. Maintain a good track record by driving more safely. Accidents are not the only things that you need to avoid. Exceeding speed limits or committing other offenses can get you penalized, which can eventually raise your premium amounts. Therefore, try your best to be a good driver and keep from getting into unnecessary trouble.

4. If you have good parking facilities and safety devices installed in your vehicle to thwart burglary, you need to highlight that in your application. Insurance companies judge each vehicle by the amount of risk involved in covering that vehicle. If your parking facilities and the safety devices installed in your car can considerably decrease the risk of your vehicle being stolen, then the insurance company would lower your premiums.

5. See if your insurance company offers insurance coverage for other purposes as well. Apart from vehicle coverage, some companies also provide insurance for the home, valuables, life, pets and various other needs. Instead of getting insurance from different companies for each purpose, pooling them all together under one roof can lower your premiums considerably.

You can use one or more of these tips to lower your premium amounts. These are some of the easy ways to get affordable car insurance for your vehicle.

Find the Best Young Drivers Insurance Policies Online

This is one of the reasons why there have been an increasing number of young people driving their cars on the road without insurance. The costs are forcing many young drivers to take this huge risk because they need their cars but cannot afford to insure them.

However there are some ways in which you can find affordable young drivers insurance policies. This means you will be able to insure your car and drive legally and with peace of mind on the roads.

Reduce Your Risk

There is a good reason why young drivers insurance is so expensive. Statistically young drivers are much more likely to have an accident or incident on the roads and need to claim against their insurance. This makes them a high risk factor for insurance companies (in other words could cost them more money). Therefore you need to take as many steps as possible to reduce your risk.

Advanced Driver Training

There are many courses available these days for advanced driver training. Once you have passed your test it is a good idea to invest in one of these courses such as the Pass Plus. This will not only improve your own driving skills and confidence but can also reduce the risk you represent to the insurance company. Many insurers offer discounts for those under 25 years old that have successfully completed advanced driver training courses.

This bonus is another key way to reduce your risk. With a no claims bonus record you can show insurance companies that you are less likely to make a claim and therefore a lower risk policy holder. Even just one year's worth of no claims bonus could gain you discounts on young drivers insurance. You can also pay a small fee to protect your no claims bonus for future savings.

Reduced Mileage

Many people don't realise that they could get discounts on their car insurance with low mileage. If you do fewer than 10,000 miles per year then you will be statistically less likely to be involved in a road incident and claim on your insurance. Make sure you notify your insurer if low mileage applies.

Voluntary Excess

You could also consider opting for a higher excess. The excess is the amount you pay for repairs before the insurance kicks in. So for example if you opt for £500 excess then in most cases you can get more reductions in your premiums than with a lower standard £250 excess policy.

Shop Around

Another important way in which you could save on young driver car insurance is to shop around. It really is a buyer's market out there when it comes to car insurance. This is a highly competitive industry and there are many insurance providers vying for business.

• You need to shop around the different providers and see what kinds of young drivers insurance policies are available.

• Look both online and also in the print media (magazine adverts and so on) for top deals currently available.

• Compare a few different deals and see what they can offer you both in terms of savings and cover.

• You do need to make sure policies can offer you the right cover. There is no point choosing cheap young drivers insurance if the cover is not adequate for your needs.

If can be difficult getting young drivers insurance that offers affordable and effective cover. However if you take the time to reduce your risk factors and shop around for deals you could find good policies on the market.

Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica

One of the ports of call for our Royal Caribbean cruise ship during the week of November 28/04 was Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Probably the most famous site in the region is Dunn's River Falls and we chose to tour it on our own rather than through one of the cruise ship tours. Once we disembarked from the cruise ship, there were cabs and shuttle buses available at the pier. Cabs to Dunn's River Falls were $22 US for a return trip. Cabs allowed 1-3 people per vehicle. We were also told at the pier that small shuttle buses also go to the Falls at $5.50 US per person. These were also based on return trips.

The only problem with shuttle buses was that we had to wait until they filled up the shuttle before leaving for the Falls so since we were the first on the bus, we had to wait about 15 minutes for it to fill up. The driver then asks you when you want to be picked up at the Falls for the return trip. Our driver suggested 2 hours to see the Falls so we agreed on this time duration.

Once at the Falls, a woman then came onboard the shuttle to sell tickets for admission to the site at $10 US per adult person which was the same rate at the park's ticket booth. Once inside the Dunn's facility, there were rentals for special rubber shoes as well as lockers. We carried a small backpack so we didn't require paying for a locker. We also brought along our scuba diving booties so we didn't have to rent those rubber shoes on site either. The cruise ship shop was also selling these rubber shoes in advance. Shoes of some type are highly recommended as the rocks on the Falls can be slippery and some of the bottoms of the water pools are a bit rocky. If you have old sneakers you don't mind getting wet, they will be suitable for the climb up the falls as well. Our scuba diving booties turned out to be sufficient. The entrance to the site is at the top of the falls so we took some stairs that were adjacent to the falls to the bottom where the beach and entrance to the climb were.

There are official guides dressed in blue polo shirts and shorts who will take groups up the falls. Normally, they will ask to carry all cameras for you so they can take photos of you as you climb. Of course, they expect to be well tipped for their services. Also, groups were told to hold hands forming a human chain up the falls. This was suppose to make things safer but as we witnessed, this method of going up the falls is not a guarantee against falling. We saw a woman let go and she fell down the rocks during one of the steeper sections. She wasn't badly hurt but we imagined that she sustained some nice bruises. There are various points along the falls where you could get off the falls and back on the stairs to walk up the rest of the way.

Not everyone there attempted to climb the falls as many were happy to just walk dry along the side on the stairs. We chose not to go with any of the groups which tend to go up the left side of the falls. We made our way up on our own mostly on the right side. With some breaks for photos, we made it all the way up the falls in about 30 minutes. Going with a group would have taken longer for sure. The water is a bit cool and if you have a wetsuit, it is highly suggested that you wear it for the climb. Cameras used there up the falls are also recommended to be water resistant since they likely will get wet. We left our digital camera on the ship and took one of those $25 underwater cameras.

After climbing the falls, we headed back down to the relatively small but uncrowded beach where the ocean water was warmer until it was time to depart. The exit back at the top of the falls was strategically located at the end of a market so we did have to go through some locals who tried to sell us their souvenirs. These locals who worked inside the Dunn's site were hustling but not as aggressively as those in the town of Ocho Rios. The shuttle bus arrived at the site parking lot on time as agreed. The total amount we spent including the park admission and the shuttle was $31 US for the two of us. Taking an organized tour through the cruise ship would have cost more than double this amount. So it is quite possible to tour Dunn's River Falls on your own rather than take the more expensive tours. We were glad that we did see Dunn's River Falls but we thought that it was not nearly as impressive as depicted on photos in travel brochures.

White Listing the Mail That You Need

Increasingly, ISPs (ex., earthlink.net, comcast.net) and mail services (ex., Hotmail) are using filtering systems to try and keep spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, though, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you do want to receive. Please do not blame your ISP or mail service. The volume of spam is enormous and the algorithms to figure out what is spam (and what is not) are complicated. So mistakes do happen

We all have to deal, unfortunately, with the fallout of what spammers do to the Internet. Naturally, you want to keep spam out. And you want to receive important business communications, support e-mail, your e-zines and any other e-mail that you request.

To make sure that your business mail is not deleted or filtered into a "junk" or "bulk" folder, send an e-mail to your customers telling them:

"please add my domain (explain which is your business domain) to your list of trusted senders/your address book/contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your ISP/mail service's whitelist...

This should guarantee that you will receive whatever e-mail you need, like Support replies (should you ever need support), post-order e-mails (if you order one of our products), our newsletter (if you register for this), etc. We only EVER send e-mail that you specifically request.

It's a shame to bother you like this, but blame it on the spammers. Your ISP or mail service is only trying to protect you. The bottom line is that things have become so complicated in the ever-escalating war between spammers and ISPs/mail services, that you and we are accidentally caught in their cross-fire.

On the other hand, please keep reading if you just want to whitelist (your business name) at your ISP/mail service, so you can get the mail that you are entitled to. How do you add (your business name) domain to the so-called "white list"? That varies from ISP/mail service to service...

NOTE: If your ISP does not allow you to whitelist a domain, they are failing to meet your most basic of EXPECTATIONS... to receive e-mail from whomever you want. There are many other, customer-focused, ISPs who would love to have your business.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but these circumstances are beyond our control. All you and we can do is work together with the good ISPs and responsible mail services to shut out the spammers, and let the "good guys" through.

Thank You (your business name) Customer Support.

P.S. Naturally, once you have verified that (your business name) is whitelisted, it's too late to receive the actual e-mail -- it has already been deleted by your mail service or filter. So please send us an e-mail to: (your support e-mail)

Please tell us which e-mail you did not receive. Include: * your first and last name * your e-mail address that has now whitelisted Easy Home Business. * We will re-send your e-mail in a jiffy. If you don't get that e-mail, simply switch to a more customer-focused ISP or mail service who deserves your business.

The Types of Automatic Lawn Mowers

Every house who has a lawn should seriously consider having their own automatic lawn mower for their gardening needs. Time and effort are just too valuable commodities that you can spend on more important things than wasting them on trimming your lawns.

How many have you passed up an excuse in cutting the lawn grass upfront? You reason out so many things that there will come to a point when you say "I just do not want to waste my time and get tired doing that very manual labor." And so you might be termed lazy, but traditional mowers just consist of too much work. And it takes a lot of time to cover the whole area of your lawn especially if you have a very wide perimeter to cover. Not to mention, the weather can also be too hot to even go out and bask in the lawn to do hard labor.

Here comes the automatic lawn mower. Usually, automatic or robotic lawn mowers are almost the same looking in the physical aspects as any of the manual lawn mowers out there. The big difference is that it can be set-up to do the work of lawn mowing without you having to drive it. It steers itself in patterns that covers the whole area that you specify. Much like the sprinklers that come off on a schedule, your automatic lawn mower can also be set to go off in a certain time and day according to the tending requirements of your lawn.

Robotic lawn mower is commonly powered by charged up batteries that can cover about an acre of grass ground cutting work. A wire perimeter is set up around the lawn area which will guide the robotic lawn mower where to go when it is working. There is a sensor attached to the level of the ground so that when a certain grass growth is already unacceptable, the sensor then switches on the lawn mower to action to cut the lawn grass as necessary. After its heavy duty work, it retreats back to where you have stationed it to recharge itself for the next lawn work.

Most of these types were designed to be sleek and quiet during operation. No more bothering the neighbors with mower noise. This lawn mower is also designed to finely cut the grass so fine that you do not need to collect the clippings anymore. The clippings are left behind and distributed along the perimeter lawn to decompose as fertilizer to your lawn. This saves you fertilizer buys and leaves your lawn looking fresh, verdant, and healthy.

The technology can present itself as something out of the ordinary but there are thousands of automatic lawn mower users all over the US. Having this equipment in your garage or gardening shack can really help you do other things that are important. The time you spent cutting the grass in the lawn can be spared for giving time to family bonding and other social activities.

Crazy Eights

Have you played crazy eights? This article will give you instructions on how to play this fun card game. This card game is similar to Mau Mau and Switch. It's a popular game enjoyed by both young and old alike.

The Origin of the Name of the Game

The name is thought to have come from the 1940's, when the name "crazy eights" referred to the military designation of discharge for mentally unstable soldiers during the Second World War.

How to play Crazy Eights

To play the game you need a standard 52 card deck (no jokers). The game can be played with 2 to 5 players, if there are 6 or more players, 2 decks of cards can be used. The crazy eights card game is a shedding type card game. The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. Each player is dealt eight cards. The remaining cards are set face down on the center. Flip the top card over to start the discard pile. Players have to match the top card's number or suit. All of the eights in the deck are wild and can be played on top of any number or suite. Game play starts with the player on the left of the dealer. If a player cannot match either the number or suite and doesn't have an eight, they must draw one card from the stockpile and play moves to the next player. If you have a card that can be played you must play that card. Part of the crazy eights rules is that when you play an eight you also designate the suite you want it to be. The next player then matches the new suit, or plays an eight to change the suite. The length of time needed to play varies.

Some Variations of the Game

As with most card games, a crazy eights card game has many variations in terms of rules. An example of these variations in rules is when a player is required to keep drawing from the stock pile until a usable card is drawn. Some reshuffle the deck when the draw pile is exhausted; others just finish game play, skipping your turn if you don't have a playable card. Some allow the drawn card to be played immediately, others say your turn is over if you have to pick up a card from the stock. One popular rule is to make the players announce when they only have one card left, forgetting to do so results in picking up two cards from the draw pile. Just make sure the rules are clear before starting the game.

Crazy Eight Versions

There are also many versions of the game. There are the Canadian rules, the solitaire-crazy eights rules, the special action cards, the crazy eights countdown and the naked eights. These are all versions with similar but slightly different rules to follow. Again, it will depend on the preference of the players and if everybody knows how to play by the rules of the version chosen.

A Card Game for Everybody

Crazy Eights is a popular card games for kids. It can be a fun way to teach them about numbers, point systems and suits. Together with go fish and old maid, crazy eights is among the most popular card games for kids.

Are Websites Really That Valuable?

Yes! A website can be an invaluable tool for any person or business. Read on to learn why...

A Website Can Help Your Business

Almost every business can benefit from starting a website. These days, 97% of all consumers use the Internet to look for products and services they want. That's a ton of potential customers! When people look online for products and services YOU offer, will they be able to find you? Will they only find your competition, because you don't have a website for your business?

A business website gives your potential customers an easy way to buy your products and services, any time, from anywhere. A website can also help with your public relations as well. For example, by posting relevant, interesting content on your website, you can show your target market that you know what you're talking about and establish yourself as an expert in your industry. This will help people trust you and your business more, which means people will be more likely to buy from you.

Even if you don't actually sell products or services online (and not all businesses do), a business website is still an important business tool. You can use your website to spread the word about your brand and establish your company's credibility. If people visit your website and like what you have to offer there, they'll be a lot more likely to visit your store or contact you about your services.

A Website Can Help You

It's not only business owners who can benefit from starting a website. A personal website it a great way to take possession of your name online. For example, if your name is Tom Brown, you could register that as a domain name (website name) - TomBrown.com - and make sure no one else can claim your name for their website address.

Plus, people Google everyone these days. Who knows who's looking you up online right now - your boss, your family, long-lost friends... the list goes on and on. The point is, people will look you up online, and if you don't have a personal website, you can't really control what people see when they search for your name. There's nothing wrong with having a Facebook profile or a Twitter account, but those aren't the same as having a real, professional website.

No matter who you are, getting a website is almost always a great idea. To learn a little more about websites and how to get one, check out this video:
